welcome

My name is ced clearwater reagan

i am licensed massage therapist and community herbalist. i live along the connecticut river on the lands of the Nipmuc and Pocumtuc people. i am influenced by cyclical time, celestial bodies, plant relationship and the way water and stardust move through the world in our form.

my work is grounded in accessibility and is trauma-informed. what i mean by this is that i carry awareness of the trauma that inflicted on bodies from the micro to the systemic and i aim to facilitate sessions where clients feel heard and respected, moving at the pace of trust, meeting each person where they are.

shadowrun herbs and bodywork

this is my container to share my ever-evolving practice. i have a background in art and i have been in plant study and practice for over a decade. i have deep fascination and have found profound support in studying embodiment and somatics through an experimental and astrological lens.

i believe in the innate wisdom and intelligence of each individual body. my bodywork practice is client-centered, creative and receptive. some of the modalities i call upon during sessions are myofascial release, trigger point therapy, swedish massage and reflexology. i believe bodywork is transformative, that touch is an essential form of medicine, an ancient technology that assists in being with what is present in the body. i find that this kind of presence practice bolsters resiliency and supports us move, with integrity, to heart led, interrelated lives.

i whole heartedly believe in the sliding scale method of payment. my hope is that my clients can get the support they need consistently, without financial stress. capitalism has ravaged our earth and our bodies. we all suffer from overwhelm, overproduction and exploitation, some much more than others. the sliding scale model asks you to think about your financial contribution in relationship to your ancestry, race, your financial access, the land that you live on, the history of colonization and theft here and the people you live among currently. i trust your discernment and am open to questions or clarification.

i am inspired by the work of Nasrene Kordini and hartley balderson and suggest their websites for more of a breakdown of the sliding scale payment.

"I highly recommend working with ced. Their approach to massage is both intentional and intuitive. They thoughtfully check in before and throughout a session to make sure they tailor their work to what is needed. They also allow their expertise and intuition to guide them, creating flexible sessions that adapt to sensations and emotions as they arise. As a repeat client, I especially appreciate how ced remembers and checks-in with repeat issues. I've found their approach creates a session that is not just relaxing, which it very much is, but also allows me to connect with my body, reduces recurring pain, and allows me to continue to release tension even after the session is done."  -AL
